netfabb Studio offers a variety of functions to view, handle, edit and repair three-dimensional files. These functions serve as preparation of virtual objects for 3D-printing, rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, including all process steps from three-dimensional CAD to the actual manufacturing with a 3D-printer. The availability of the functions depends on the acquired version of netfabb Studio. The basic version already offers a wide range of very useful features. These are further enhanced by additional tools in the Professional version. The functions can be divided into several categories:
